GO TEAM!

Kennedy's mini cheer team competed for the first time today!

They did a great job with their stunts.

The best part, the girls were so proud of themselves!

Here she is in full "costume!"

Showing of her eye make-up the coaches put on.

And the face "bling."

They have another competition in 4 weeks.  They are all looking forward to it!

Volcano

I've always wanted to try the "Mentos and Diet Coke" experiment.
Kennedy is a great experiment assistant!
To keep this experiment "safe" I bought a "kit" to set up the 7 required
Mentos to "drop in" with a pull switch.  So, she could
keep her distance.
READY...

SET...

GO!!!!

The volcano got some height!

Kennedy LOVED it!

There is no stopping her now!

Here is the proof.  It is official...she has is a two wheel bike rider now!  And we seem to have the steering under control as well.
READY...

SET...

GO!!!!!!

We are still working on the solo take off.

But once she gets going, there is NO stopping her
(literally, we are still working on the brakes...although by the end of the
"session" she seemed to grasp that concept!)

And of course...here is Livy Loo.  She was in on the action as well.

I'm looking forward to a family bike ride.  We are talking about
dropping a bike off at school for Kennedy to ride home one day this week.
Livy will have to be a passenger on that day...to keep up with Kennedy.

Another weekend get away with Daddy-O

Perhaps I created this blog so I could keep up with my OWN family's happenings.
I see the light at the end of the tunnel.  My comprehensive exams are this week (my first one tomorrow).  So, to give me time to "organize" my thoughts, Mike took the girls to Palm Coast for an overnight adventure.

 Tree climbing with the cousins.

Okay, all the grandkids, look over here!!

This is the last picture in a series of 7, where all grandkids are looking at the camera!!

Livy spotted the beach on the way to the fort and asked Daddy-O to go there.  So, today, they ventured to the beach.  Although it was too cold to swim...the looked good.

Kennedy wants to show here mid-section this year (check out her abs!).

Livy is sporting the red nail polish and flip in her hair.  She is wearing her "tutu" bikini she picked out.

And here are the bathing beauties.  Hopefully, the first day of many at the beach this year :)!

No pictures to prove it (as of yet) but Miss Kennedy learned how to ride her bike without training wheels today!  She needs to "perfect" the act...i.e. steering and braking...But she is well on her way!
